National Pronto names Philips its lighting supplier

The National Pronto Association has selected Philips Automotive North America, a division of Royal Philips of the Netherlands, as its preferred supplier of automotive lighting products throughout North America.

“Philips was chosen by Pronto because of its world leadership in the automotive market, the exceptional depth of its product line, a name brand commercial offering, and a total commitment to enhance the Pronto application data system and make consumer lighting sales easier,” says Mike Mohler, vice president, Pronto.

Pronto’s members will be offered Philips’ branded portfolio of automotive lighting for commercial and retail programs. The Philips line includes aftermarket commercial automotive lighting and accessories, featuring a full range of Xenon HID headlight bulbs, upgrade lighting, and LED innovations.

“We believe that we will go a long way in helping Pronto members significantly increase their automotive lighting sales and profitability by providing a one-stop shop for all their commercial and retail automotive lighting needs,” says Dennis Samfilippo, general manager, Philips Business Group Automotive, N.A.

The National PRONTO Association is an organization of independent automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors, auto parts stores, and auto service centers with more than 95 members operating 202 locations throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
