STS announces road trip promotion

Posted on May 15, 2014

Somerset Tire Service Inc. (STS) is sponsoring a road trip contest to raise awareness of vehicle and tire maintenance. The Great American Road Trip prize package features stops in Hershey Park, Pa., Washington, D.C., and Virginia Beach, Va., for up to seven family members.

To win the STS Great American Road Trip, families should register between May 15-July 6, 2014, online at www.ststire.com or text STSWIN to 55000 (standard rates apply). There is no purchase necessary, but participants must be a legal U.S. resident and 18 years of age.

One winner will be picked at random from all entries. The prize includes hotel accommodations (three rooms maximum per night for six nights), theme park tickets, and a generous gas and food allowance.

"For many families, a favorite spring and summer pastime is packing up the car and hitting the road to discover all the places our beautiful country has to offer. As life has gotten more and more hectic, sometimes it's difficult to make that happen, but it's important for families to stay connected. If we can help make these trips a reality, and also make them safer, than we have done our job," says STS President Bill Caulin.

"We can't emphasize enough how important vehicle maintenance and tire care is when planning a trip. We encourage our customers and neighbors to visit their local STS and have their cars inspected by our highly skilled technicians before getting on the road."

STS' complimentary 28-point tire and vehicle inspection is available throughout the Great American Road Trip promotion at all 150 locations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.  STS is an employee owned company and does business as STS Tire & Auto Centers at retail locations throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
