Alcoa Wheel & Transportation Products announced it has a newly designed website at www.alcoawheels.com with a renovated North America section that now focuses on optimal customer experience through quicker and more functional navigation, and there are details on the company’s recently launched Ultra One wheels.

The website’s updated homepage features streamlined navigation -- allowing customers and consumers to more easily find the information they need. Four scrolling headlines on the homepage will guide visitors to with information on:

  • The new Ultra One wheel;
  • How Alcoa is driving its customers’ bottom line;
  • What Alcoa can do for specific wheel types;
  • Why customers love Dura-Bright wheels.

Alcoa says the website update also offers more comprehensive details on specific products and their benefits. One new tab focuses on surface options, which assists users with better understanding of Dura-Bright, Dura-Flange, Mirror Polish, Clean Buff and Brush finish options.

Alcoa says visitors can also get key information on the world’s lightest aluminum wheel, the Ultra One. Unveiled in March 2014 at the Mid-America Trucking show, the 40-pound wheel is 47% lighter than steel wheels of the same size. The Ultra One wheel can help save up to 1,400 pounds per rig, enabling fleets to carry more goods while meeting stringent federal emissions regulations, notes Alcoa.
