The new BFGoodrich DR454 highway drive tire complements the company’s DR444 long-mileage tire.

Michelin North America Inc. says the BFGoodrich DR454 SmartWay-verified highway drive tire offers low rolling resistance and meets the fuel efficiency expectations, carrier certifications and regulations that today’s highway operations demand.

The company says it also provides serious grip in wet conditions, excellent retreadability and long, even wear. Combined with the ST244 and ST230 all position/steer tires and the TR144 trailer tire, BFGoodrich now offers a total SmartWay-verified solution for highway applications.

“The BFGoodrich brand is known for its heritage of proven performance in trucking history and understands the importance of helping fleets take control of their day-to-day business,” said Donna Murphy, business segment manager for BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires.

“It’s a brand that fleet operators can count on, and our goal is to continue to build this trust with new offers that meet their critical business needs. The new BFGoodrich DR454 SmartWay-verified highway drive tire provides regulation compliance and fewer stops at the pump, which fulfills the needs of these important customers. I urge everyone in the industry to stay tuned because this is just the beginning of exciting things to come for the BFGoodrich brand.”

The BFGoodrich DR454 is now available and comes in 11R22.5 and 275/80R22.5 sizes, load range G.
