The Smithers Group has upgraded its tread wear testing capabilities at its primary Tire and Wheel Test Center in Ravenna, Ohio.
TBC Corp. (TBC) is awarding a free set of Sumitomo’s new HTR Enhance all-season performance touring tire and other prizes to the winners of the “It’s the Journey” sweepstakes, which runs June 2-30, 2014.
TBC is the exclusive distributor of the Sumitomo brand in North America. The company is giving several travelers a chance to upgrade and document their summer road trips with up to $1,500 in travel expenses, a new GoPro camera, and the Sumitomo tires
Participants are encouraged to visit Sumitomo’s Facebook page and enter the “It’s the Journey” sweepstakes by sharing their most creative story of the trip they would take with their new set of Sumitomo HTR Enhance tires.
Entrants are also invited to submit a photo of the vehicle they would take on their journey.
TBC says the three qualified entries with the most creative stories, as judged by the contest committee, will be declared winners and awarded the following prize packages based on the final committee rankings:
* grand prize: GoPro camera, set of 4 HTR Enhance tires and $1,500 toward travel expenses.
* 2nd place prize: GoPro camera, set of 4 HTR Enhance tires and 1,000 toward travel expenses.
* 3rd place prize: GoPro camera, set of 4 HTR Enhance tires & $400 toward travel expenses.
The winners will also be asked to submit photos and or videos from their trip that they go on using the GoPro camera provided in the prize package.
