WECnology names Top Dog ‘WECnologist’

Posted on June 25, 2014

Wayne Croswell, CEO author of MTD’s Counter intelligence department and president of WECnology LLC, announced its newest “WECnologist,” Top Dog Solutions Inc., a business analytics and reporting solutions provider.

Top Dog has been providing business analytics tools to the automotive aftermarket since 2003. Of the 2013 Modern Tire Dealer 50 Top Independent Tire Dealers in the U.S., one third of them have relied on Top Dog to deliver the information that is vital to their decision-making process.

“Tire Dealers have vast amounts of business data stored in their computer systems,” said Croswell.

“Their challenge has always been the ability to get at that data in a timely, economic and meaningful way to make key strategic business decisions. Top Dog has perfected a process to mine the data out of the dealers’ business systems, regardless of the POS system and present it to decision makers in an extremely useful manner. We are confident in declaring Top Dog ‘Best-of-Breed’ in business analytics.”

“We extract a dealer’s data from their business systems and develop a sophisticated data model,” said Eric Levine, President of Top Dog.

“Then we present it for analysis via Microsoft’s Excel. Excel provides the dealer with an easy-to-navigate interface with virtually no training. They can analyze information at the 20,000-foot level looking for trends or potential problems. Then with a few clicks of the mouse, drill down to the details to discover where the problem lies.”
