Falken announces consumer rebate promotion

Posted on July 7, 2014

Falken Tire Corp. will offer consumers a $50 rebate with the purchase of a set of four Ziex ZE950 A/S tires in a nationwide promotion to run Aug. 1-Sept. 30, 2014.

The “More Miles, More Savings” rebate promotion will be supported with advertising in national consumer magazines as well as tire trade publications, according to Falken.

Launched this past February, the Ziex ZE950 A/S offers 95 sizes ranging from 15-inch to 20-inch wheel diameters, including 33 individual crossover utility vehicle (CUV) sizes for a line of tires that coves 93% of the U.S. market.

The ZE950 A/S is backed by a 65,000-mile warranty for the H- and V-rated line-up.

Falken says the Ziex ZE950 A/S has been integrated with Falken’s Dynamic Range Technology (DRT), a proprietary compound, which widens the operating temperature range of the all season tire, without sacrificing handling performance, comfort or mileage, all significant selling points.

Third-party testing shows the ZE950 A/S lasts 63% longer than its predecessor, the ZE912’s original compound, according to Falken.

“Sales of the Ziex ZE950 A/S have been excellent since our launch,” says Rick Brennan, Falken’s executive director of marketing.

“We feel offering this late summer/early fall rebate on the ZE950 will enable our dealers to reach out to more consumers in consideration of both the tire and the Falken brand.”

Customers must submit a rebate form, along with the original store receipt showing the purchase of four Ziex ZE950 A/S tires, or they may apply online at www.falken.rapid rebates.com/consumer/USA.
