Veyance Technologies says its new air brake hose assembly has all-brass construction with a metal-on-metal seal.

Veyance Technologies says its new air brake hose assembly has all-brass construction with a metal-on-metal seal.

Goodyear Engineered Products manufacturer Veyance Technologies Inc. says it has added pre-made air brake hose assemblies to its hydraulics product line that complement Veyance’s existing air brake hoses and hose adapters, offering customers the full assembly for the first time.

The new air brake hose assemblies deliver high-quality hoses, great fit and durability, and are DOT-certified, says Veyance. The product features the use of Goodyear and SAE-branded hoses made in the United States with focus on the standard product line, adapters and the 3/8-inch hose.

All-brass construction with metal-on-metal seal ensures that leaks, corrosion and movement within the product construction are not an issue, says Veyance, and all assemblies are a fixed NP male, swivel air brake female and standard adapter.

“Adding the pre-made assembly to our hydraulic hose product line is a big advantage for our customers,” said Tom Lee, marketing manager at Veyance Technologies.

“Instead of having to buy additional parts to connect to our hose, customers can now buy the full assembly from us, saving time and money.”
