Independent tire dealer Todd Hamilton has been named member of the month for June 2014 by the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce.

Hamilton is owner of Leroy’s Corp. which does business as Double H Tire in Mineral Wells.

The Chamber cited Hamilton’s generosity and support of the community for his selection. Hamilton sponsors youth activities and supports other charitable causes, including the “Palo Pinto Challenge,” which benefits disabled children, and Hope Inc., a battered women’s shelter.

Hamilton also is active in the renovation of the community's historic Baker Hotel as a member of "Friends of The Baker."

Double H Tire offers tire and auto repair along with service for commercial and farm vehicles.

Hamilton and his father Leroy opened Double H Tire in June 1987. He has operated the shop, which has eight bays and six employees, since the elder Hamilton passed away in 2005.
