Centric Parts has new sales director

Centric Parts, a North American manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems, has hired industry veteran Charlie Kirkland to the newly created position of director of sales for program groups.

Kirkland has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, including 35 years in brake component sales management and five years in program group sales.

“Charlie brings with him decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket and a particular expertise in program group sales that will benefit the company in many ways,” says Centric Parts President & CEO, Dan Lelchuk.

Toyo’s Net Tire Sales Drop 6.7% in 2016

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. reported a net loss of 12.3 billion yen on net sales of 381.6 billion yen for its fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2016. That compares to net income of 1.6 billion yen on net sales of 407.8 billion yen for fiscal 2015.
