Kumho prepares to launch NBA promotion

There is no "off-season" for Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. With the 2014-15 National Basketball Association season months away, Kumho is launching an NBA-themed promotion this fall.

The “No Dribble, All Drive” consumer rebate program will run from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, 2014. Consumers can receive up to a $100 prepaid reward card via mail-in rebate if they purchase a set of four of the following tires in September and October:

* Ecsta PA31 ($50 rebate);

* eco Solus KL21 ($60 rebate);

* Road Venture MT ($100 rebate), Road Venture APT ($80 rebate) or Road Venture AT ($80 rebate);

* Solus TA31, Kumho's new all-season performance tire ($60 rebate).

The Solus TA31, which will be available in September, is original equipment on some 2015 model year Kia, Hyundai and Chrysler vehicles (and the 2014 Kia Soul). The TA31 features an attractive symmetric tread design engineered to deliver a comfortable ride, according to the company.

In addition, the tire'sunique tread compound aids in long mileage; the company is backing the tire with a 60,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.

As part of the No Dribble, All Drive fall consumer rebate program, Kumho will leverage its promotion and high-profile partnership with the NBA through print advertisements, the Web and social media. Kumho also will provide premium, NBA-themed point-pf-purchase kits to all participating Premium Fuel associate dealers.
