Falken adds sizes to its WildPeak H/T line

Falken Tire Corp. has expanded market coverage of its WildPeak H/T line with 18 new sizes, including crossover vehicle sizes.

That increases the number of P-metric and LT sizes to 44; they range from 15 to 20 inches and are Q-, S- or T-rated.

The tire's symmetric, five-rib tread pattern and distinctive multi-wave lateral sipes result in "superb dry handling" and responsive wet braking, according to the company. Falken has optimized traction and control through its rugged carcass construction, which includes the following:

* a high-tension casing ply;

* stiff, wide steel belts; and

* a rigid variable pitch shoulder design.

Additionally, the WildPeak H/T has a silica-infused, high mileage tread compound. Falken backs the tire with a 60,000-mile limited tread wear warranty and its 30-Day Ride Guarantee.

The WildPeak H/T "now has a staggering 84% coverage of the total LT market,” says Rick Brennan, Falken’s executive director of marketing.
