Tracer Products’ Tracerline EZ-Ject A/C and Fluid Kit is a complete leak detection kit that pinpoints all air conditioning and fluid leaks quickly and effectively, the company says.

The kit features the OPTI-PRO -- a cordless, “true UV” (violet light) LED leak detection flashlight with power comparable to high-intensity 100-watt lamps. It provides optimal fluorescent dye response and contrast, ensuring that every leak glows brightly.

The OPTI-PRO works with all Tracerline universal and PAG A/C dyes, as well as the TP-3400, TP-3405, TP-3900 and TP-3940 fluid dyes. Powered by three AAA batteries (included), it has a 100,000-hour LED service life.

The kit also includes an EZ-Ject A/C dye injector with hose and coupler, an EZ-Ject universal, multi-dose A/C dye cartridge for servicing up to 14 vehicles, a one ounce bottle of Dye-Lite All-In-One oil dye for all oil-based fluid systems, a one ounce bottle of Dye-Lite water-based dye for coolant leaks, and fluorescence-enhancing glasses. All components are conveniently packed in a rugged carrying case.

According to the results of our survey, demand for passenger and light truck replacement tires declined in March. Indeed, from a volume standpoint, the dealers reported they sold 0.8% fewer tires in March relative to the previous year’s period. The decline marks the third straight month of poor results versus the prior year’s period. However, on more a positive note, trends improved sequentially.
