TBC Corp.’s Big O Tires LLC subsidiary has added locations in Winnemucca, Nev., and El Cajon, Calif.

The Winnemucca store is owned and operated by Dawneen and Blake Lambert. For the past 17 years, the Lamberts have operated this location independently as part of the Tire Factory cooperative.

The Winnemucca store is the twentieth Big O Tires location in Nevada. It opened March 30, 2016, and a grand opening celebration is scheduled for the beginning of May. The store will offer passenger, light truck, tractor, farm, and mining tires as well as automotive services.

“As a Big O Tires location, I am able to offer the same exceptional quality of service that my community has come to expect from me, but I can now offer what I believe to be better products, better prices and better warranties,” says Blake Lambert.

“It’s exciting to see successful independent operators like Dawneen and Blake join the Big O Tires organization,” says Kevin Kormondy, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Big O Tires. “We are committed to helping each and every one of our franchisees; from the beginning stages of evaluation through facility assistance and training, we’re confident that our talented field support team can assist new franchisees to enhance the operation of their business. We’re thrilled to have Dawneen and Blake as part of the Big O family.”

The El Cajon store is the fourth Big O Tires location in the San Diego region. The store was formerly run as Devore Tire. It is owned and operated by franchisee Bill Clark. This is Clark’s  first store as a Big O Tires franchisee.

“Making the decision to join a world class organization with buying power, marketing expertise, outstanding support and a knowledgeable team of franchisees was an easy one,” says Clark. “Transitioning to Big O Tires has been a seamless experience. All of the teams that I have had the opportunity to work with have been extremely detail-oriented, knowledgeable and helpful throughout every step of the process.”

This is the 105th Big O Tires location in the California. The store, which opened on March 8, 2016, has five service bays.

“Bill’s success in the automotive aftermarket industry speaks to his dedication to his team and to his customers; his operational excellence, commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and knowledge of the industry will continue to benefit him as a member of the Big O Tires family, ” says Kormondy. “I’m confident that Bill’s skills and experience, coupled with the expertise of our support teams, will result in exceptional results for Bill and his organization.”

The store is located at 1253 North 2nd Street, El Cajon, CA, 92021 (619-440-8635).
