Titan Appoints Chief Financial Officer

The board of directors of Titan International Inc. has approved the transition of James Froisland from his position as interim chief financial officer to chief financial officer.

Froisland’s appointment was effective Dec. 5. He has served in the interim role since May 2016.

Titan says Froisland has had extensive experience as a chief financial officer, chief information officer, chief operating officer, corporate secretary, consultant and board member for domestic and international public and private equity owned companies, including Westell Technologies Inc., InfuSystems Holdings Inc., Material Sciences Corp., and Burns International Services Corp. 

Titan International Inc. owns subsidiaries that supply wheels, tires, assemblies and undercarriage products for off-highway equipment used in agricultural, earthmoving/construction and consumer applications. For more information, visit www.titan-intl.com.

Top Retreaders in the U.S.: ‘Tires Have Become a Commodity’

For the first time since Modern Tire Dealer began ranking retreaders in 1988, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is not in the No. 1 spot. The company did not specify the reasons for its lower production totals, but the overall retreading industry has been affected by high volumes of low-cost tires from China.
