TGI Appoints Hancock CFO

Tire Group International LLC (TGI) has named Craig Hancock chief financial officer. He replaces Alberto Olivares, who retired at the end of 2016.

Olivares served TGI for 19 years and will remain part of the TGI executive counsel.

Hancock has worked as vice president of finance for TGI since early 2016. Prior to joining TGI, he worked as regional controller for Ricoh Latin America Inc.

Joaquin Gonzalez, president of TGI says, “Craig is a solid seasoned financial executive with broad exposure in several financial disciplines. He has been a consistent high performer in very demanding roles throughout his career. Michelin Adds New UHP Tire to Pilot Line

Michelin Group’s new Pilot Sport 4S has a Y speed rating (186+ mph) and offers a 30,000-mile warranty. The product line initially includes 35 sizes, in widths ranging from 225mm to 345mm, aspect ratios from 30 to 45, and rim diameters from 18 to 20 inches.

Baratta To Retire From Bridgestone March 1

John Baratta, president of consumer replacement tire sales in North America for Bridgestone Americas Inc., will retire March 1. The 34-year Bridgestone veteran will be replaced by Erik Seidel, who joined the tire company in 2013.
