NCTDA Expo and Trade Show Is Set for March 3-4

Posted on January 9, 2017

The North Carolina Tire Dealers Association 2017 Expo and Trade Show March 3 and 4 will feature Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich, as well as MTD’s 2016 Tire Dealer of the Year, Alpio Barbara.

The event will be held at the Raleigh City Center Marriott and Convention Center.

Ulrich will moderate a forum of successful tire dealers, including Barbara, as they give advice on how to improve your business model.

The event’s keynote speaker is Stuart Schuette, CEO and president of American Tire Distributors Inc. He will speak at 6 p.m. on March 3 during the banquet. The Friday night events also include the association’s dealer of the year and hall of fame awards, plus scholarships to incoming college students.

At 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, Greg Marchand of Service Sales Academy will lead the first educational session of the day, and he’ll focus on what it takes to provide excellent customer service, all the way from the initial telephone call to the time a customer spends inside your store.

The forum with Ulrich and dealers follows Marchand’s customer service session on Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon features a trade show of 60-plus vendors, which should begin around noon. Lunch is included at the show.
