Andreoli Picks Its First General Manager

Russ Carter, former general manager of Griffin Brothers Auto Centers LLC, has joined Andreoli & Associates Inc. He will serve as general manager and take on the duties previously handled by the software company's president Mike Andreoli.

Carter spent 15 years managing the 10-location Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair in North Carolina, and before that worked for former tire wholesaler Target Tire Inc., and Firestone Complete Auto Care.

Mike Andreoli says, “We specifically wanted this new position to be filled by someone from the industry we serve. Russ' vast industry experience in both retail and wholesale gives us an unprecedented perspective of our clients' needs going forward. His proven track record in operations will also better enable us to manage the growth opportunities we see ahead as the software industry consolidates.”

The new position will enable president Andreoli to focus on product development and long term business strategies, the company says.

Baratta To Retire From Bridgestone March 1

John Baratta, president of consumer replacement tire sales in North America for Bridgestone Americas Inc., will retire March 1. The 34-year Bridgestone veteran will be replaced by Erik Seidel, who joined the tire company in 2013.
