Trelleborg Plans More Price Increases for Sept. 1

Posted on July 31, 2017

For the second time this year, Trelleborg Wheel Systems America Inc. plans to raise prices on its agricultural, forestry, industrial and construction pneumatic tires. The need for the increases was "driven by higher raw material costs."

Trelleborg will raise prices up to 8% only on its pneumatic tires in North America effective Sept. 1, 2017. The price hikes will be applied to all brands in the company's product portfolio.

The company last raised its farm and ag tire prices on April 1, and its industrial and construction tire prices on May 1. In both cases, bias-ply tires also were affected.
