Hunter Will Showcase Safety System Alignment at 2017 SEMA Show

Posted on October 26, 2017

Hunter Engineering Co. will demonstrate the Safety System Alignment capabilities of its WinAlign 15.0 software at the 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show Oct. 31 – Nov. 3 in Las Vegas.

Today, driver assist systems are the fastest growing vehicle technology and yet are often a mystery to vehicle owners. These systems, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and brake assist, increase driver safety by using cameras and radar to monitor the vehicle’s surroundings and help drivers avoid collisions.

“Of the approximately 15 million vehicles registered in the U.S. in 2015, almost one-third of these vehicles have the option of being equipped with driver assist system technology, so it is very important for shops to understand proper reset procedures,” says Kaleb Silver, senior product manager for Hunter Engineering.

In addition to a mechanical alignment, manufacturer’s specifications often require a Safety System Alignment. Hunter’s WinAlign 15.0 makes it easy to align a vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Hunter’s new Safety System Alignment is the only integrated mechanical and driver assist systems alignment procedure.

Hunter Engineering’s alignment systems, wheel and tire service, brake service and inspection lane equipment will be displayed in booth #41029 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
