Jonathan Fisher Is Bridgestone's Master Tech of the Year

Bridgestone Retail Operations LLC (BSRO) has named Jonathan Fisher the 2017 BSRO ASE Master L1 Technician of the Year.

“Jonathan exemplifies our company’s commitment to being a trusted service provider in tire and automotive care,” said Joe Venezia, president of BSRO. “We employ more than 5,000 ASE-certified technicians so it is truly a distinguished honor for Jonathan to be recognized as the ASE Master Tech of the Year for BSRO. We are proud to celebrate his work ethic, initiative and outstanding contributions to his community.”

Jonathan joined BSRO in 2007 as a C-level technician. Since that time, he has taken the initiative to seek higher levels of training, earning 11 ASE certifications to date. His colleagues at the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Mechanicsburg, Pa., describe him as a leader and the go-to technician customers ask for by name. Prior to joining BSRO, Jonathan attended Cumberland Perry Area Vocational School and graduated in 2005 with a diploma in automotive technology.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jonathan and his wife are active in the Mechanicsburg community, where he serves as a deacon and board member at his church. His passion for automotive service extends to his personal life as well, listing his favorite hobby as fixing things, including his first car, a 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo SS.

Fisher was honored at the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) annual awards banquet in San Diego, Ca.,alongside 45 technicians from across the industry.
