Atlantic Tire & Service Inc. has opened its fourth store in North Carolina’s Triangle Region. The eight-bay outlet is located in Wake Forest. The dealership also has stores in Raleigh, Cary and Durham.

The new shop is located 3001 Wakefield Crossing in Raleigh. It will serve customers in North Raleigh and Wake Forest.

The 7,182-square-foot store has eight bays and 12 ASE-certified employees. A Wi-Fi network facilitates communications throughout the shop, and equipment includes an on-car brake lathe and Hunter Engineering Co.’s HawkEye wheel alignment system.

Customer amenities include free Wi-Fi, a coffee bar, a separate office with desk and phone where customers can work while they wait, and free pickup and delivery of a customer’s vehicle at his or her workplace.

LED (light-emitting diode) lighting technology throughout the interior and exterior improves energy efficiency.

Atlantic Tire & Service is owned by Anthony Blackman. “Since opening our first shop in Cary in 1998, we’ve strived to truly add value for our customers, allowing them to trust someone with their vehicle and know that we always have their best interest in mind,” he says. “We look forward to better serving our North Raleigh and Wake Forest communities with the opening of this new location.”

Founded in 1998, Atlantic Tire & Service offers a wide variety of services and expertise, including online appointment scheduling, same-day car repairs, free shuttle service, free pickup and delivery, and a highly trained staff of ASE Certified Master Technicians and TIA Certified Tire Technicians.

The company has won many awards, including 2016 Tire Dealer of the Year honors from the North Carolina Tire Dealers Association and the Eastern Better Business Bureau's Torch Award for Excellent Business Ethics in 2013. The Tire Industry Association (TIA) presented its Ed Wagner Leadership Award to Blackman in November 2017 for his support of community initiatives, schools and chambers of commerce.
