Tim Fulton and Jim Mayfield Join Giti Tire

Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. has hired a pair of industry veterans in its quest to grow and increase its market share in North America.

Tim Fulton comes to Giti after 32 years with Group Michelin, where he most recently served as vice president of global operations, manufacturing and supply chain for the BFGoodrich brand. He's worked in Michelin's domestic and international businesses in finance, sales, supply chain and manufacturing.

Fulton will serve as chief operating officer of Giti Tire Manufacturing USA and will report to Enki Tan, president of Giti Tire Manufacturing USA and chairman of Giti Tire Group.

Jim Mayfield has joined Giti as senior executive vice president of sales and marketing and will report to Chris Bloor, executive director of Giti Tire global sales and marketing. Mayfield most recently worked as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Kumho Tire USA.

Mayfield has spent more than 36 years in the industry in sales and marketing positions with various tire makers, working in both replacement and original equipment tire positions for Michelin North America Inc., Continental Tire the Americas LLC, Yokohama Tire Corp, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp and Kumho.

Additionally, Giti has promoted Lou Monico to vice president sales and marketing for Canada, with concurrent responsibility for corporate accounts.
