Bridgestone Names Marisa Blank Executive Director of OTR Tire Sales

Bridgestone Americas Inc. has named Marisa Blank as the executive director of sales for commercial off-the-road (OTR) tires at Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO). She will be in charge of developing sales growth strategies for the mining and construction industries and related segments.

“Marisa’s extensive sales background, analytical skills and wealth of industry knowledge make her a perfect fit for the role,” says Bridget Neal, president of OTR tires. “We are confident that she will successfully guide our OTR sales team to provide best-in-class customer service in this ever-evolving industry driven by data and technology.”

Blank joined Bridgestone in 2010, and most recently served as director of original equipment account management for consumer tires in North America. Bridgestone says in the last seven years Blank has helped advance the OE consumer business by developing and executing effective customer-centric plans.

In 2016 Modern Tire Dealer named Blank as On the Rise.

Prior to joining Bridgestone, Blank held other positions within the automotive industry at Akzonobel, Idemitsu Lubricants and Dow Chemical. She earned a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering and systems engineering from Oakland University.
