Nick Mitchell Joins Goodyear's Investor Relations Team

Nick Mitchell is making the move from industry analyst for Northcoast Research Partners LLC to senior director of investor relations at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.

Mitchell also is author of Modern Tire Dealer's Your Marketplace column. He's turning over the column to John Healy from Northcoast.

Mitchell reports to Christina Zamarro, who has taken on expanded responsibilities as vice president of corporate financial planning and analysis and investor relations.

"Nick combines extensive knowledge of the automotive and tire industries, with excellent fundamental research and analytical skills,” says Laura Thompson, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Goodyear. “With his deep financial insights and experience, he will enhance our interactions with the investor community and I look forward to his contributions."

Mitchell joins Goodyear after working for Northcoast Research Partners as managing director and research anaylst since 2009. In this role, he provided equity research for institutional investors on publicly traded companies in the automotive aftermarket, tire manufacturing, rent-to-own and discount retail industries. He previously held investment analyst and research positions with Ardor Capital, FTN Midwest Research Securities Corporation and McDonald Investments.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from John Carroll University.
