Falken Tire sweeps unlimited class at W.E. Rock West

Falken Tire, manufacturer of high performance on- and off-road tires, swept the Unlimited Class at the W.E. Rock Western Series competition with Matt Messer in first; Justin Hall second; and Olivia Messer in third. In addition, Massa Tsuda, driving the Falken-liveried Rock Crawler, took second in the Pro Modified Class.

Chris Forsberg grabs his 5th podium of the Formula Drift season

For the 5th time this season Hankook Tire driver Chris Forsberg was on the winner’s podium this past weekend at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington having secured a third place finish at Formula Drift Round 5: Throwdown. Forsberg’s third place finish marks his fifth consecutive podium appearance of the season.

German Grand Prix: Practice Sessions

Pirelli faced some of the hottest track temperatures seen all year at Hockenheim during free practice, peaking at 57 degrees centigrade. Despite this exceptional heat, the two softest compounds in the range – P Zero Yellow soft and P Zero Red supersoft – performed within the expected parameters at what is a demanding circuit in terms of traction and braking.

This is also the third year in a row that a Team Nitto driver has won the Glen Helen Grand Prix Ultra4 Short Course race.

German MotoGP debrief with Shinji Aoki

The 2014 German Grand Prix at Sachsenring saw Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez secure his ninth successive victory and complete a clean sweep of the first half of the MotoGP season. It was a successful weekend for Repsol Honda with Dani Pedrosa taking second place on the rostrum, while Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Jorge Lorenzo also handled the tricky conditions well to finish in third place.
