Management moves at Goodson Tools & Supplies

Erik Shepard is Goodson's new Tech Services Manager.

Longtime Tech Services Manager Jim Tapp has stepped down as department manager at Goodson Tools & Supplies for Engine Builders, and Erik Shepard has been named as the new manager.

“I’m 60-some years old and it’s time to let the young guys take over,” says Tapp. “I’m not going anywhere, but we’re preparing for a smooth transition when I decide to retire.”

Shepard, who has been with Goodson since 2000, has over 25 years of experience in the automotive world. He is an avid racing fan and builds and participates in bracket racing.

“I have some big shoes to fill, but I look forward to the challenge,” says Shepard.
