Michelin changed tire prices in 1Q
Stable raw material costs have something to do with the apparent lack of consumer price increases in more than a year.
That doesn't mean tire companies are not implementing price increases. They just aren't always announcing them.
Why is that? Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich looks at price changes through the eyes of Groupe Michelin in his latest blog, "It looks like Mchelin raised -- and -- decreased prices in the first quarter."
Specifically, he tries to find out if there have been any price changes by deciphering the company's first-quarter financial results.
See how he did by reading the blog. Then let us know if you have experienced price increases or decreases by leaving a comment!
