H&H Industries Inc. has opened an OTR retread and repair facility in Pickton, Texas, with Trey Whiteman. The joint venture facility is named H&W Retread and Repair.

Bridgestone lays off 91 plant employees

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC laid off 91 more employees from its Bloomington, Ill., off-the-road tire plant on July 12, following the completion of an extended one-week shut down.

Modern Tire Dealer magazine will introduce another first this coming Wednesday, May 13, with the launch of CTD Online, the first and only e-newsletter exclusively dedicated to the commercial tire segment.


Titan reports sales, income declines

Titan International Inc. posted sales of $232.6 million on net income of $7 million during the first quarter of 2009. That compares to sales of $253.5 million on net income of $8.1 million achieved during the first quarter of 2008.


GPX will display new Brawler tire in Las Vegas
