Hankook breaks ground on new plant in Tennessee

Pirelli celebrates 10-years in Rome, Ga.

Ten years ago today (August 14), Pirelli Tire North America began producing tires at 400,000-square-foot facility on a 127-acre tract of land in the Floyd County Industrial Park in Rome, Ga.

Phase one has yet to be completed, but Pirelli is already producing tires at its new, environmentally friendly plant in Mexico. As equipment is added, the material preparation, curing (in photo) and final inspection areas will be expanded. The plant covers more than 1.4 million square feet.
