Hankook Tire to Showcase Laufenn Brand at 2017 SEMA Show

For the third consecutive year, Hankook Tire America Corp. is showcasing its Laufenn brand at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. The event is being held Oct. 31 – Nov. 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Hankook Gains Ground on its Goals

Continued growth in the U.S. and Canadian markets will be the key for Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. to reach its self-imposed goal of being the industry’s fifth largest tire company by 2020. This is the message about 80 key distributors and dealers of Hankook-branded tires were told at the company’s annual Partner’s Day Meeting in Los Cabos, Mexico, last month.

Hankook Expands Commercial Tire Lineup

Hankook Tire America Corp. has released two tires designed for regional service applications. The new Hankook AH37 and DH37 tires are designed to offer lower rolling resistance and greater fuel efficiency.

The driving simulation room features a race car parked in front of a large curved screen that offers a 360-degree view. The simulator primarily tests handling, but braking and other variables also are measured.

Hankook Sees the Future in the Technodome

Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. wants its new research and development center to make a statement. The 1-million-square-foot structure in Daejeon, Korea, a city known as “Asia’s Silicon Valley,” is an impressive sight. The building was designed by the same architect who created Apple’s world headquarters, and the stark white floors and walls of windows give the space a modern, Apple-ish look.
