TRIB Redesigns Its www.retread.org Website

A new video section is one of the highlights of the redesigned Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) website. TRIB says the changes were necessary "to continue to meet the needs of educating the public and fleets about the massive environmental and economic benefits of retreading."

TRIB Reflects on the 'Endless Efforts' of Harvey Brodsky

Harvey Brodsky was the managing director of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau, also known as TRIB, for nearly 30 years. His death on Sept. 17 at age 81 brought out mini-tributes and sorrowful-but-positive remembrances of Brodksy from people in the retread industry and beyond.

Joseph Saoud, president of truck and bus radial tires in the U.S. and Canada for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC, used his keynote address at the North American Tire & Retread Expo to promote the virtues of quality retreads while at the same time expressing concerns over low cost imported tires.
