Hankook to Build a Winter Tire Testing Site in Finland

Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. is establishing its own European winter tire testing facility in Ivalo, Finland, some 300 km/h north of the polar circle. The company has recently signed a contract to build the facility with the Finnish tire testing company Test World Oy next to their own testing area Mellatracks.


Hankook takes Laufenn brand to Europe

Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. posted net sales of $6.6 trillion won in fiscal 2014, which is 5.5% below 2013’s sales of $7.1 trillion won.


Hankook buys shares in car parts company

Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. has purchased a majority stake in Korean car parts manufacturer Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp (HVCC). The purchase makes Hankook the second largest stakeholder in HVCC.
