Tire Factory hires Young as director of sales

Clint Young has joined the Tire Factory Inc. management team as director of sales. He spent his first week in the tire business in a Tire Factory store earning his Tire Industry Association Automotive Tire Service certification.

Tire Factory dealers saw a model of the new branding initiative at their annual meeting. “We have consistency in our merchandising and signing but still give the individual dealer the latitude to do what’s right for his shop,” says Keith  Morris, director of merchandising.

Tire Factory LLC capped its final year as a partnership with 28 more stores, about 8% more in revenues, and approximately a 5% increase in units of tires shipped. The dealer program group is beginning 2014 as a cooperative. The change in structure, which was passed by 97% of members, became effective Jan. 1.

Tire Factory adds 28 new dealers in 2012

Tire Factory welcomed 28 new independent dealers into its group in 2012, a record number of new members for one year. Many of the new dealers came from the Denver area and other surrounding states.
