Who do you want for President of the United States: Donald Trump? Hillary Clinton? Bernie Sanders? Ted Cruz? Rich Kramer?
Kramer is already president (and chairman, and CEO) of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., and is not involved in our nation's presidential campaign (although you can always vote for him as a write-in candidate). He did, however, give a campaign-like speech to Goodyear shareholders recently.
He said all the right things -- the kind of things you expect the company leader to say. All good things.
In the spirit of transparency, Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich decided to check out Kramer's statements by the numbers. If the national press can do it to the presidential candidates, why can't Ulrich to Kramer?
Was Kramer painting an accurate picture of Goodyear's financial status? Or was he just talking in generalities that are hard to prove?
