Alliance Tire Americas (ATA) Inc. has hired logistics expert John Mancinelli as vice president of operations.
The company says Mancinelli brings more than 15 years of experience leading complex operations, logistics, demand planning and customer support organizations for global leaders in consumer/food products and apparel manufacturing and sales, including Gillette Co. (later P&G), Timberland Co. and Welch Foods.
Jim Clark, ATA president, says Mancinelli’s experience in operations management, strategic planning, and supply chain management and design will be critical as the company continually improves service to customers through maximized on-time in-full delivery.

Mancinelli will be working out of ATA’s Wakefield, Mass., office, reporting directly to Clark.

Alliance Tire Americas is the American-based field engineering, R&D and customer service staff of Alliance Tire Group (ATG), which manufacturers the Alliance, Galaxy and Primex off-the-road brands. Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. purchased Alliance Tire Group in July.
