The Nexen brand has been ranked No. 10 among global tire brands by Consumer Reports magazine, according to Nexen Tire Co. Inc.

Nexen says the brand ranking was calculated by combining the results of performance evaluation per category, which consists of all season, ultra-high performance, summer and winter tires of 150 tire models and at least 25 tire brands.

The N’Fera SU1 was acknowledged for its excellent performance and is ranked at the top among Korean brands and No. 6 among a total of 18 models, according to Nexen.

Nexen is increasing its brand awareness by sponsoring four winter sports competitions while also maintaining partnerships with three Major League teams in the U.S. and Premier League football team Manchester City FC in England. The company says it has also been recognized by design competitions, such as earning special mention in the German Design Award contest in 2015 and winning the main prize in Japan’s Good Design Award contest in 2016.
