Titan International Inc.is adding an all-season bias tire for skid steers to its TGS2 lineup. With a focus on snow removal and landscaping, the tire's open-shoulder tread design and full-tread depth are designed to provide traction in snow, ice and mud.

Titan says the full-depth tread across the TGS2's entire surface provides better traction in all weather.

The TGS2 for skid steers builds upon the successful all-season TGS2 radial motor grader tire concept.

“If you're pushing snow in the winter and doing landscaping work in the summer, this is the perfect tire,” says Johni Francis, off-the-road tire global product manager for Titan. “The tread design puts more rubber on the ground for increased life pushing snow on concrete and less ground disturbance on sensitive turf.”

The company says the siping on the lugs provides an additional biting edge that allows the tire to perform where others might struggle, especially in foul weather.

The TGS2 for skid steers is available in the standard 12-16.5 size.

The tires are manufactured by Titan Tire Corp., a subsidiary of Titan International. For more information, visit www.titan-intl.com.
