Pep Boys — Manny, Moe & Jack is adding 134 locations with the purchase of Just Brakes Total Car Care. The acquisition gives Pep Boys more than 900 locations in the U.S.

The purchase comes after the two auto service companies announced a partnership in November. At that time Pep Boys signed on as a tire supplier for Just Brakes, which got into the tire business in June 2016.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

"Adding to our portfolio over 130 stores in strategic locations allows us to strengthen our presence in target markets, including Dallas and Atlanta, and demonstrates our steadfast commitment to growing our Service business."

Just Brakes has been in business for 36 years, and has 134 locations in eight states, including 14 major metro markets.
