The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations to serve on the 2017-2018 TIA Board of Directors. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, May 8, 2017.
Each board of director will serve a three-year term and may be re-elected to serve two additional, three-year terms. Positions on the TIA board are open to individuals that fulfill the following requirements:
- are employed by a TIA member company;
- the member company has been in good standing for two consecutive years prior to election; and
- represent a manufacturer, tire dealer, wholesale distributor, supplier, recycler or retreader
“The success of our association is a reflection of the unwavering commitment from our board leadership,” says Roy Littlefield, executive vice president of TIA. “With every nomination cycle, we are hopeful that all new members will be a vital asset to TIA and our pledge to tire safety.”
Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the nominating committee in accordance with the TIA bylaws. Self-nominations also are welcomed.
