Nexen Tire Co. Ltd. has created a first-of-its-kind partnership with an English Premier League club. The tire company will be the Official Sleeve Partner of the Manchester City Club, and the Nexen logo will appear on the club's uniform sleeve for all league games in the 2017-2018 season.
Nexen also is extending its existing partnership with the football (soccer) club, with a multi-year renewal. And the agreement has been extended to include Women's Super League and League Cup winners, Manchester City Women.
The two parties came together for a signing ceremony at the City Football Academy in Manchester City, including the club's manager Pep Guardiola with players Gabriel Jesus, İlkay Gündoğan and Jill Scott.
Nexen originally partnered with the club in August 2015.
