Customers of Vipal Rubber Corp. celebrated the company’s 10-year anniversary in the Oceania region at Noosa Heads on the coast of Queensland March 13-15, 2017.
Vipal says the Noosa Heads trip was an opportunity to express gratitude for the support and loyalty of its customers since establishing operations in Australia in 2007 and later expanding to New Zealand and the Fiji Islands.
The company notes it had been exporting retreads to Australia for 15 years before setting up a distribution center there.
Vipal says the Oceania market demands quality retreads. "We are having wonderful results on the retreads produced and serviced by our customers in the fleets. Reaching three to four times the mileage of our competitors at some transport operations in a competitive market as this is more than a proof of our quality and capability to offer cost saving solutions,” says Adalberto Fernandez, general manager of Vipal Mercosur & Oceania.
Leandro Rigon, Vipal’s international business director, says the operating environment for retreaders has been difficult in recent years. “However we see in our customers the strength and will to cross this tough period and keep businesses prepared for the better times that will come.” Rigon says Vipal will support its customers “with its best effort possible. We feel highly confident as the best option in the market.”
Vipal has two plants in Nova Prata, Brazil, and one in Feira de Santana, Bahia, totaling about 160,000 square meters of manufacturing facilities and two distributions centers in Brazil. The company also has distribution centers in South America, North America, Europe and Oceania.
