Vipal Rubber Corp. is displaying its recently-released, Alpine-symbol-certified VT220 tread at the North American Tire & Retread Expo (NATRE) in New Orleans.

The VT220 tread is on display at booth No. 611 alongside the VT200, recommended for highway freight transport, the VL1101, a slim tread for long distances on paved roads, and the DV-UM3, which has been used in South America and Europe on urban buses and highways.

"The U.S. retreading market is the largest in the world, representing roughly 30% of worldwide trade," says Antônio Brito, Vipal regional manager. "Being in a position as one of the world leaders in the sector, we are keen to participate in such an important event. Certainly, occasions like this are essential for cultivating relationships with current and prospective customers."

At the NATRE show Brito is working alongside fellow Vipal team members Gabriel Fuma, commercial manager for the U.S., Jean Barros, commercial manager for Mexico and Central America, Leonardo Oliveira, technical and sales representative, and Amaramh Velazquez, commercial technician.
