Federal Tire North America LLC reports its 595RS-RR UHP tire has won a Red Dot Design Award for its “refined outlook, exceptional steering and prolonged endurance.”
The Red Dot Design Awards program is considered one of the world’s most prestigious, the company explains. Evaluations are made based on innovation, aesthetic characteristics, applicability, functionality, and efficiency. This year’s Red Dot Design Awards included applicants from over 54 countries and 5,500 products.
“The superb tread patterns of 595RS-RR UHP tire not only constitute the look of blazing wings, which celebrate the dedication to the inseparable bound between drivers and vehicles, but also symbolize Federal’s everlasting passion for motorsports excellence,” the company says. “These flame-shape grooves also contribute to reduce aquaplaning and increased traction in rainy conditions, which help racers and car enthusiasts stay focused on slippery roads and corners. In addition to its superior grip performance on wet circuits, the tire also delivers maximum traction on dry tracks thanks to its new silica-infused compounds.”
Da-Wu Chen, global sales and marketing director for Federal Tires, adds, "Winning Red Dot Awards is testament to our dedication to tire performance and quality. We are very proud that our 595RS-RR has received such global recognition from the Red Dot Awards and we will continue to enhance our product competitiveness through continuous R&D concentration."
