Belle Tire Distributors Inc. has hired its first chief marketing officer, picking up Vivek Saran from the marketing agency the tire dealer hired a year ago.

Vivek Saran has previously worked on marketing campaigns in the tire industry, when Marc USA represented Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.

Saran spent 12 years as senior vice president and director of business strategy and innovation at Marc USA in Pittsburgh. He brings more than 20 years of experience, and will oversee all of Belle Tire's marketing initiatives. “Vivek is an intelligent and humble leader with exceptional business expertise and marketing leadership. He understands the brand DNA of Belle Tire and our perpetual commitment to serving our customers,” says Belle Tire's President Don Barnes III. "He is well recognized for his extensive experience in business strategy, innovation and integrated marketing that will be invaluable as we continue to drive Belle Tire’s expansion and growth.”

Marc USA is the firm that created Belle Tire's "I got a guy" marketing campaign, which launched in October 2016.

Saran is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
