NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Race No. 7 – 400

This is the first time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams have run this tire set-up at Texas, though they did run this same combination of left- and right-side tires at Kansas one month ago. Compared to what these teams ran at Texas last season, this tire set-up features a compound change on both sides of the car due to the track’s repave, and a construction update on the right-side to align with what is run at other speedways.

On all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions, for Texas air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
