Horizon Tire says the new Supermax Touring TM-1 tire provides extensive market coverage in the economy segment.

Horizon Tire Inc. has released the Supermax brand’s first passenger/CUV product line, the Touring TM-1.

To date, Supermax, Horizon Tire’s proprietary brand, has featured commercial, industrial, OTR and agriculture lines. The Touring TM-1 is the brand’s initial consumer product offering. The company says the Touring TM-1 will be complemented by future light truck all-terrain and highway additions to the Supermax brand.

The T-, H- and V -rated Supermax Touring TM-1 is comprised of 42 sizes in popular OEM touring and crossover fitments, ranging from 13 inches through 18 inches.  The Touring TM-1 has both mileage and road hazard warranty coverage.

The Touring TM-1’s unique tread pattern design provides excellent driving performance experience in wet and dry conditions and also enhances the safety and long mileage features, according to the company.

The Supermax Touring TM-1 will provide extensive market coverage in the economy segment. The company says tire buyers are looking for high value, even in economy tires. They expect traditional wet and dry traction performance, long mileage, a smooth ride and the assurance of good quality. The Supermax Touring TM-1 delivers on all these expectations.

To support sales of the Touring TM-1, Horizon Tire will offer both factory-direct container and warehouse-direct, trailerload programs.

In addition to Supermax, Horizon Tire is the sole-authorized U.S. distributor for Antares, Grenlander and Rydanz brands.
