Dealer Strategic Planning Inc. (DSP) has hired George Kingman as the 20 Group’s associate director. Kingman brings extensive experience in sales and store management, productivity improvement and team building to DSP.
Prior to joining DSP, Kingman held various positions at Bridgestone Americas Inc., including store manager, area manager and most recently, lab stores area manager. In these capacities, he helped drive innovation, foster a culture of over-achievement, and build employee, peer and partner relationships. His experience as lab stores area manager allowed him the opportunity to test new and innovative ways to increase productivity from the front counter to the service shop areas.
“With his experience in store innovation, we will be able to assist our 20 Group members with the latest in technological improvements as well as state-of-the-art management practices,” says Dennis McCarron, executive director of DSP.
Kingman says the decision to join DSP was the right choice for him. “After collecting my industry experiences, the DSP model allows me to help dealers in all areas of store operations: technical processes, marketing, advertising and employee motivation. I hope to drive customer service to a new level.”
