Team Falken helped Tsuda Racing score second place in the Unlimited Class of Round 3 in the W.E Rock Western event at the Donner Ski Ranch in Norden, CA.

Driver Masa Tsuda’s second place finish, supported by Spotter Naozumi Tsuda, generated the minimum points for the team’s current fifth place overall in the Western Series Championship.  Teams are penalized points if they stray from the course; the driver with the fewest points wins.
“We are very pleased with our result,” stated Masa Tsuda, upon receiving the team’s trophy for second place.  “It really gives our team credibility to score well in this competitive environment.”
Running on Falken Wildpeak M/T tires, Tsuda’s vehicle ran well on the tough course, performing well on the tough granite rocks that lined much of the track.
“The grip of Falken’sWildpeaks gave Tsuda Racing the traction they needed and took the team to the next level,” said Steve Wong, Falken’s Supervisor, Passenger Car Events.  “Additionally, the team’s determination, combined with spotter Naozumi Tsuda’s concentration, enabled the team to earn its second place podium.
“We have always enjoyed our support of Tsuda Racing and it has paid off,” added Wong.  “This team places so much focus on the W.E Rock series, having moved up to the Unlimited Class, and is focused on the Western Series Championship.  It’s a testament to the Tsudas’ dedication and the performance of Falken’sWildpeaks that make this partnership work.”
