Online tire retailer Simple Tire LLC has added another tool for consumers onto its website — the ability to schedule an installation appointment with a local service center.

Simple Tire says it has integrated the service schedules of all of its installation partners into its software. That network of service centers continues to grow, but it has surpassed 10,000 locations. The list includes national partners like Pep Boys — Manny, Moe & Jack, Monro Muffler Brake & Service and Mavis Discount Tire, as well as smaller tire stores and mechanical repair shops.

“We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and offer new solutions for growing our network’s businesses," says Simple Tire CEO Andy Chalofsky. "From ongoing customer feedback and research, we know that more customers are buying tires online and want to schedule the installation online as well."

The company says the scheduling tool is available with any tire purchase from Simple Tire — so that includes not just passenger and light truck tires, but medium truck, farm, industrial and off-the-road tires as well.

Simple Tire says the integration of installation appointments will help streamline the process for service centers, and also will drive new online customers to their shops.
